Look closely.
Those tiny specs on the wall… are climbers.
El Capitan is over 3,000 feet tall — and people climb it — often over multiple days.
Think about that…
This is Yosemite at full scale.

Water, light, and timing.
These moments only exist for seconds — and then they’re gone.
Waited around for a couple of hours to see this! Yosemite rewards patience.

Send this to someone who needs a moment of calm.

Yosemite isn’t just wide — it’s vertical.
These cliffs rise thousands of feet straight up from the valley floor.
Hard to grasp until you’re there — or save this for later.

Yosemite before the calm.
Heavy clouds, shifting light, and the feeling that something is about to break.
These are the moments that build the story.

From May 4, 2025 - an unforgettable evening in Yosemite. Captured many great scenes over a three-hour period as a light rainstorm moved through the valley, then cleared at sunset. |

Light changes everything.
These moments lasted minutes… but completely transformed the landscape.
From shadow to glow, Yosemite never holds still for long.

Yosemite, in the moments most people never see.
Fog lifting through the valley. Storms breaking apart. Light slowly returning to granite walls.
I’ve just released a new Yosemite Gallery featuring these moments and more.
A curated selection is also now on display at .

BUCKET LIST ITEM: CHECK! âś…

Last spring, Beth and I finally got to visit Yosemite National Park, and the week was absolutely unforgettable. I spent the week chasing fog, waking up before sunrise for that incredible golden light on the granite, and was rewarded with some truly spectacular moments—like that incredible rainbow in the mist (swipe to see it!).

Huge shoutout to Beth Buseman Kaiser a for being the most patient companion during the long hours and early mornings of those shoots!

Since the trip, I’ve been fully immersed in the process: culling the thousands of images, carefully processing the keepers, and preparing this new body of work.

This is just a little sneak peek at the moody, dramatic atmosphere I was chasing. I can’t wait to share the final prints and gallery with you all soon!

Which of these first 10 moments is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! 👇
