It's been a bit, but...
Blue Rider Monday!
A cold, snowy winter may be hard on the humans (this one in particular is really over it!), but our horses are really enjoying it! It’s been years since we’ve had enough consistent snow cover that we could let the horses out in the big pasture on a regular basis. This year they have been able to have a lunch break in the field almost every day since winter storm Fern, and they are so happy to have the freedom and room to move. We’re happy to see them so happy- there are many, many reasons why people love having horses, and watching them run and act like horses is a beautiful reason why. (We’re pretty sure that, in his own mind, Rico is also galloping wildly around with the rest of the herd....)
