To all of our wonderful clients at T. Hernandez Photography —
As many of you know, we are a military family, and our sales manager is currently in the process of moving. During this transition, communication may be a little more limited than usual. In addition, I will also be out of the country for a wedding, which may further delay responses to emails and texts.
Please know that we are still here, working hard behind the scenes, and we will respond to everyone as soon as we can. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy season of life.
I also want to personally acknowledge that editing timelines have fallen behind. Life has brought some unexpected challenges recently, but I am still putting my full effort and heart into every gallery I deliver. Your memories are incredibly important to me, and quality editing takes time to ensure they are preserved beautifully.

These two images are a perfect example of what happens behind the scenes after a session ends. 📸

The original image had:
• Extra empty space
• Distracting elements in the background
• Flat lighting and muted tones
• Composition that didn’t fully highlight the graduates

In the final edited version, I

✔️ Cropped and reframed the image for a stronger composition
✔️ Balanced exposure and tones
✔️ Enhanced colors and contrast
✔️ Cleaned up distractions
✔️ Drew attention back to the graduates while keeping the natural beauty of the Flatirons

Editing isn’t just “adding a filter.” Every image is carefully adjusted to create a polished, professional result that tells the story beautifully. 💛🎓

To all of my amazing clients — thank you so much for your patience and excitement about your galleries!
I do want to gently remind everyone that, as explained during the full session consultation, follow-up text, and follow-up email, editing does take approximately 2–3 weeks after your session date.
Right now, I am in full editing mode. I’m currently receiving texts and emails from about 3 clients a day asking when images will be ready. While I completely understand the excitement, responding to these messages does pull me away from the session I am actively editing and slows down the overall turnaround process for everyone.
For every 1 hour of session time, there are approximately 5–8 hours of editing involved behind the scenes to create the final artwork you receive. Every gallery is carefully hand-edited in the order sessions were completed.
Wednesday resumes 8–12 hour editing days after catching up on jet lag.
Please know Katie will reach out to you as soon as your gallery is fully edited and ready for delivery.
I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support while I work hard to give every client the beautiful final images they deserve.

To all of my wonderful clients who have emailed or texted asking when your images will be ready — thank you so much for your patience and excitement!

As explained during the full session consultation, follow-up text, and follow-up email, editing typically takes 2–3 weeks to complete. I’ve been editing about 6 hours a day consistently (except yesterday for Mother’s Day so I could spend time with MY family.

Today I’m headed back to Germany and will even be editing during airport layovers and on the airplane.
Tuesday will be my catch-up day for jet lag, and beginning Wednesday I’ll be back to editing 8–12 hours a day to get galleries completed as quickly as possible.

Please know that Katie will reach out to you as soon as your gallery is finished and ready for delivery.
