While the photographer predominately photographs dance related subject matter, she is experienced and comfortable working in/with studio lighting as well. Other types of performances she has photographed include concerts and drag shows. Through her education at Cazenovia College she has gained a strong knowledge of cameras and photographic processes as well as become proficient with Adobe software

. During the summer of 2015 Sarah completed an internship in NYC with freelance photographer, Rosalie O'Connor and the New Chamber Ballet company. The artist had a solo exhibition at the company's end of season performance.
