Yesterday these two rang in the new year by getting married on 12/31/23 🎇 I had to edit one quick photo to give a quick sneak peek to the last wedding of the year!

Also, yesterday morning I was lucky enough to see a barred owl fly into a tree and capture a couple quick photos of it (see the second slide!)

I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year and hope that everyone has a wonderful 2024! Today I will be spending the day doing some cleaning and resting to recoup from yesterday.

Well, it’s nearly 2024!

To all the couples I’ve worked with this year, thank you. To all my friends, family, and clients who have questioned why I barely post… it’s a bit hard when you’re shooting 40 (yes, 40!) weddings and elopements. I have one more left for the year on NYE so I included one of their engagement photos in here! This year was really special, I got to add two of my high school friends to my list of couples I photographed.

This year was tough for a lot of reasons and I am so grateful to all the amazing couples, weddings, their families, friends, and my own personal supporters to have been so great to help me through it by just being so amazing and welcoming. You are all the best. I can’t wait for 2024 and for all the amazing couples I have lined up to work with so far. I can’t wait to see the ones I’ve already met again and I can’t wait to meet the rest!

Going forward I will be limiting how many weddings I photograph each month and prioritizing myself just a tiny bit more and also giving myself more time to prioritize emails, my website, maybe social media, and a nap here or there. There are only a few dates left for 2024 I will be booking.

The end of winter in VT is right around the corner which means these two have their one year anniversary coming up at the end of next month. From the sweet details, first look, heartfelt ceremony lead by their friends and family, the amazing speeches from their siblings, and all of the partying - the day was just awesome. Side note: it was also my first wedding with some Jewish traditions included (which if you’ve never been to a Jewish wedding you are missing out, they are really cool and really fun). Cheers to these two 🍻 🎉

This special day was spent at with doing video and keeping everything on track - both of which have a special place in my heart 😘

McKenzie & Tom at last month ❄️☃️ these two came all the way up from CT to have a perfect Vermont winter wedding! It was so fun getting to photograph a couple that is from the same area in CT where I grew up (and it was heartwarming and a little nostalgic to see one of my friends from HS there as well - not trying to make myself feel old rn 😅) The horses and sleigh ride was an added bonus for some fun photos ❤️

And here we are going all the way back to mid April ‘22 for these two’s special day. Their laughs together from when I arrived all the way to cutting their cake was infectious and made the day full of even more happiness!

I’m happy to say I have gotten to starting on editing for my October weddings and sessions (my other photog friends are very aware of how busy this month has been and how busy it will continue to be!). I’m currently trying to get everything out before I am literally drowning in editing 😅 I am so thankful to have gotten to do so much this month and am excited to share everything from this year.
