What actually happens at G.L.O.W.? This isn’t just a sit-and-listen kind of event.

Girls will:
✨ Hear encouraging messages about confidence + coping skills
✨ Take part in fun activities that bring those ideas to life
✨ Connect in small groups to reflect, share, and practice

It’s a mix of listening, doing, and connecting.

My hope is that each girl leaves feeling more confident, grounded, and encouraged to GLOW from the inside out.

✨ G.L.O.W. Update! - Register below ✨

I realized I never officially shared this here—
𝗚.𝗟.𝗢.𝗪. 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝗿𝗱

And I’m really excited about it!

This event is for girls ages 9–12, and it’s designed for that in-between season where confidence can feel a little shaky and relationships start to shift.

G.L.O.W. is a space where girls will:
✨ Hear encouraging, real-life messages about confidence
✨ Participate in breakout activities
✨ Connect in a small, intentional group
✨ Be reminded of who they are and what they’re capable of

And for 10 girls, there’s also the option to add an empowerment photography experience with me—creating artwork they’ll see every day and remember who they are.

We’re just about 2 weeks out, and I’m working to fill the room with an incredible group of girls.

If you have a daughter—or know someone who does—this is a great event to attend with a friend.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧: March 22, 1-4 PM
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭: Tween Empowerment Event for girls ages 9–13
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: The Tower Heritage Center in West Bend
Limited to 20 girls

The tween years are a turning point. Confidence can shift. Comparison can get louder. Friendships get more complicated.

G.L.O.W. is a one-day experience designed to boost confidence and self-esteem. This year's theme is "𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡: 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬." We're going to show the girls how small flips in the ways they think, speak to themselves, and treat others can completely change the way they feel and show up in the world.

We do this through:
✔ Motivational & educational speakers
✔ Breakout activities to anchor in take-aways and have fun
✔ An intentional small-group setting where girls feel seen

For 10 girls, there is also an optional empowerment photography experience — to create meaningful artwork that serves as a daily reminder of who she is.

March 22 will be here quickly.

When a senior comes into their session with some ideas we run with them and this happens! This image was a special request from Colson and one of the last images we shot. I think we nailed it.

I'm not going to bother following trends, because your senior isn't a trend - and their portraits shouldn't be either.

Let's play a game 👀 Can you spot the differences?!

"Optimize your image for print" — sounds fancy, right?
But what does that actually mean?

Basically, it means my crazy, detail-oriented brain goes to work on your favorite images so that when they go up on your wall, you’ll never want to take them down. Like, 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟. 🖼️💛

It’s what turns a nice image into ℎ𝑖𝑔ℎ-𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑡 𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘 — thoughtfully designed as an invitation to linger and delight in your favorite people or pets.

Practically speaking, it involves things like:
✨ removing distractions
✨ face swaps
✨ skin smoothing
✨ fine-tuning digital details like noise, sharpening, contrast, and color balance to match both the feel you want in the final art and print medium you choose — since what looks great on a screen can look very different in print.
✨ making sure the image file is the perfect resolution and size for what you’re creating

It’s the behind-the-scenes magic to sure your images look incredible on your wall, not just your screen.
