The sweetest first Mother’s Day surprise! ✹
​Sophia had absolutely no idea where they were going today, but her husband had the ultimate surprise waiting—a secret photo session to celebrate her very first Mother's Day with their sweet little guy, Silas.
​We captured some of the greatest, most genuine moments together. Getting to be a part of a surprise like this, and watching this beautiful little family celebrate such a special milestone, completely fills my heart. It’s moments exactly like these that make me love being a photographer so much. đŸ€đŸ“ž

As a photographer📾, I see so many moms hide from the camera because they don’t feel "ready." But motherhood isn't about being ready; it's about being there. This is also why I try so hard to capture those sweet moments during photo sessions.

This weekend I remind you to take the picture. Don’t worry about your hair, your makeup, or if you’re wearing the "right" outfit. Your kids won’t care about those things when they look back at these memories—they’ll just see you. This Mother’s Day, I want to celebrate the reality of being a mom. It’s not always "picture perfect," but it’s always worth capturing.
