Well, I can officially say I’ve been a movie extra.

I got to be part of a scene for the new movie Copperhead yesterday, and it was honestly such a cool experience getting to see a little bit of the behind the scenes magic that goes into making a movie. I even got to drink some "b**r" during the scene. We weren’t allowed to take photos while we were inside filming, so I took photos of what I could before and after.

I went into this not knowing anyone and ended up making friends with some of the other people who came on their own too. I’m so glad I took a chance and went because I had such a fun time. Now I’m just hoping I can spot myself somewhere in the finished movie. 😂

We’re getting down to the final stretch of getting everything ready for our reunion on October 17th, and we’re still looking for a few more donations for our silent auction! We’d love to include some of our local businesses, so if you’d like to donate a gift card, gift basket, service, merchandise, baked goods, experience, or anything else you think would make a good auction item, we’d love to have you!

Okay y’all, it’s been a few years since I’ve done Christmas minis and I’m thinking about bringing them back this year! But before I start planning everything, I wanna know… would y’all actually be interested in Christmas minis this year? 😂 And if so, what kind of setup are you wanting to see?

These popped up in my memories today. It was 10 years ago that we moved back from TN. This sweet family was my very last session before we left. It’s crazy how fast 10 years has flown by! So many memories and so thankful I got to capture these sweet moments. ❤️

Last week I made a post about Mrs. Fields at the mall closing and how I took the kids to get one last cookie because of the nostalgia. That place has been there forever and it was just one of those little things that brought back memories.

Some people took my post as an open invitation to review the business. 😂 Like… that was not the point of the post. I wasn’t asking for reviews, opinions, or everyone’s personal experience with the cookies. It was literally just a post about me, my kids and nostalgia.

Apparently I should've included a disclaimer with the cookie post. 😂

I’ve had a few people ask about bartering for photography, so I figured I’d just make a post about it!

I’m open to trading photography sessions for products, services, skills, etc. If you have something you think might be a good trade, send me a message. I’m always open to hearing ideas!

With everyone doing the side by side photos with AI, it made me think of this one I took of my oldest two back in 2019. They have photographer kid syndrome, so it took a lot of bribing to even get this picture, but I still love it. 😂❤️
