This is one of my all-time favorite parks because I always get so many wildlife photos in just an hour or two of my time. I got "lucky" on this visit because the cormorant took a p**p when I was standing nearby taking it's photo, it splashed up on my shoe, eww. But photographing those eyes are so worth it and it wasn't disturbed or upset, he was just preening and settling in for a nap. Let me know if you want to go with me sometimes, maybe you'll get lucky next time😉, lol!

Loved watching a knot of oak toads today and sharing their location with passersby. Some people were not at all interested and others were just as curious as I am about them. Unlike most toads these are active during the day and they are the smallest species of toad in North America.

Colors in the sky are such a delight to behold. The warmth of the sunshine is missed once the sun sets especially when it is chilly.
