I named this one Ivory Whisper. I can't prevent flowers from dying by I can preserve them through my photographs.

Gentle layers of creamy petals of this bloom unfold in a graceful spiral, creating a sense of calm, romance, and quiet luxury.

Happy Birthday Joseph Nicéphore Niépce - born on this day, March the 7th, in 1765.

Niépce is shown here alongside his image "View from the Window at Le Gras" which he produced in either 1826 or 1827 (his record keeping was not great ;) )

This heliographic image is the world's oldest surviving camera photograph, with Niépce often being credited as the inventor of photography.
