Jesus taught us that we should love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44)
James 1:19 “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:”
When random judgments come to your door remember to remain calm and he shall be there for you in times when family can not hold their judgments of you.
AND
Remind yourself how much you've healed and found new life.
Every relationship that has caused me sorrow and pain, has been replaced with a healthy, loving relationship in the most unexpected ways and from the most unexpected people (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Jesus told the disciples, “But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another”. (Matthew 10:23).
God did not God did not tell them not to love THE FAMILY, He told them to love them from a distance, a great distance because we all must love – we are commanded to love but we are not commanded to love what the evil do.
Romans 3:23 - “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” it is the Lord with the final say.
So when family that has betrayed, forsaken, judged and mistreated you even after you left for your sake. Remind yourself ALL WILL BE OK THROUGH HIM AND REMEMBER GUILT, SHAME OR NEGATIVE FEELINGS ARE NO LONGER YOUR BURDEN SO LONG YOU CAN FORGIVE NEVER FORGET BUT MOVE FORWARD.
