Hi, My name is Tessa. I own Backroad Photography in Parsons, KS. I born and raised in Parsons. I have always had a passion for all forms of art. It all started back when I was a young child. My mom said all the other children were drawing stick figures, but not me. I drew real bodies with fingers and toes. My family and friends have always encouraged me to pursue my love for art. Everyone wanted m

e to sketch, paint, or be a graphic designer. The truth is…. I love photography more than any other art form! I always have! It all started with a disposable camera my mom got me for my 4th grade field trip! The first photo on that camera was a picture of a beautiful butterfly. Still to this day I love photographing butterflies but I love photographing families so much more. I love capturing those true emotional candid moments between a mother and child, that moment where siblings are actually getting along and playing, and those small fingers and toes. I personally love those moments. Those moments when I look at my children and my heart feels like its melting with love and happiness. Thats why I decided to open up Backroad Photography. I want to capture those precious moments for you too. Those moments that you will someday wish you had back.
