I can’t say for sure which age is my favorite. I think with each phase and milestone met, who I knew has slowly been replaced with a different version of a person I get to know and love. Watching my girls grow into their own unique individuals, has honestly been the experience of a lifetime.
What I can tell you, is if given the chance to go back in time and hold my girls as new babies with the birds eye view of everything I know now, I would do it in a heart beat.
Photographs are the closest thing we will ever have to a time machine. Life is short, and while we can’t time travel, we can pass down snapshots of a moment, that when put together tells the story of our lives for future generations.
What an honor it is that I get to tell your story🤍

It’s been awhile, hi friends🫶🏻
I kind of hate being the one in front of the camera, but here’s some shots I had my husband take, along with some fun facts about me.

I’ve been with my husband for twelve years and we have two little girls. I don’t share them on here, but they do keep us busy.

In an alternate universe, I would have been a writer.

I’m a french press, black coffee kind of girl, but if the mood strikes I go for iced oatmilk lattes with a dash of vanilla

I wish photography was my full time career, but for now it’s a creative outlet that I have in between working full time and being a mom.

I’m a working mom, and actually proud of that. I want my girls to know you can be both.

I read a lot-I like thrillers but have entered into the fantasy world and oh my gosh, what took me so long! (I’m talking about you Xaden and Rhysand)

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a book that imprinted on my heart forever, I highly recommend it.

I don’t know how to swim

I aspire to garden, but usually end up killing every plant by accident

I struggle with the thought of getting older, but am simultaneously grateful for another year 🤍

I remember when my oldest daughter was born, so many of those early days and nights were filled with great confusion. It felt so overwhelming to time her bottles, change her diaper, figure out bed and bath schedules. The days quickly turned to months, which turned to years and here we are, about to have a Kindergarten graduate. The late night feeds have turned to stories about her day. The first steps have turned into cheering her on at soccer games. The bedtime books have turned into her writing “I love you mom” on every piece of paper she can find.

I asked my daughter how she felt when she was with me the other day. She thought for a second and said “I feel loved, happy and joyful”. If you feel like you aren’t doing enough as a mom, I promise you are. Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all the moms out there, no matter what stage of your journey you’re in🤍
