MINI SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT:

I have opened up a few spots for Apple Blossom Mini sessions and my first evening of Beach Minis are now available to book. (There WILL be additional days at the beach. Some mornings, some evenings, and we're going to Maine, y'all!)

This year, I have opted to make mini sessions this year all inclusive. This means ALL photos we take of your family will be included in the package price. I made this decision based on the vast majority of you who continue to upgrade for the full image package with mini sessions instead of the limited image choice.

That being said, I have also made the decision to not offer the 10 minute sessions this year. They will now be 20 minutes for a mini - knowing my pace and knowing my clientele, 10 was pushing it - 30 is too long, and 20 is the sweet spot.

50% retainer for all sessions and balance is due on or before your session date.

Looking forward to another year of capturing your moments together. This year, I'm choosing to slow it down. :) With everything going on around us, let's slow it down together.

I've spent the last few months doing free or low-cost shoots for new and returning guests at the studio. I provide these because it's important to me that children acclimate to photographers/studios/getting their picture taken in their impressionable years. I feel strongly that this allows children to be more open to seasonal family photoshoots that I know mean so much to parents.

Some fellow business owners might think I am completely insane, but for me it's the bigger picture. No pun intended.

Last year was hard for many clients financially. I believe most if not all of us were "tightening the belt". So I lowered my prices. I lowered them enough that I took a hit for the 2025 year and a personal pay cut. Why? Because I have seen multiple studios around me close their doors. Photographers closing up shop. I did this to stay alive. I can't imagine a world without portraits. I can't imagine skipping milestones because it's "too expensive". That shouldn't be the case. Ever.

I am working on my spring and summer schedule for families and high school seniors and you will notice that pricing will be increased from last year. This is difficult for me to do, but I am trying to survive, just like everyone else. I have seen nothing but increased costs for running my business, and I have to make up for that or I will fail.

Easter Minis are in 2 weeks and if you could share the posts about those I'd be incredibly grateful.

Join me in a few weeks with the Easter Bunny at the studio for a sweet spring memory!

This will run like my Super Santa Mini - sessions are 5 minutes and back to back. If your little one needs more than 5 minutes, please stay tuned! A separate listing with 10 minute sessions that are more forgiving for the littles who need more time will be posted shortly.
