So, one month out from my return back to the U.S. I finally got around to tallying the donations and making my last payments. Turns out, in addition to helping significantly with my trip costs, y'all raised $120 for Kory Wawanaca Children's Home. In a country where $1 U.S. is worth nearly seven Bolivianos, that will go a long way. Thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you for all your support toward getting to Bolivia! It was an amazing 10 days with some equally amazing kids. I'm so grateful to have had the chance to go and couldn't have done it without you.

Arti says, "Thank you!" to everyone who's sent a check or bought a puppy picture so far. We've raised $13.50 for Kory Wawanaca Children's Home and $121.5 toward my trip cost of $2,000. There's still a ways to go, but we're getting there!

If you're looking for a place to give, I'd say this is a great one. I had the privilege of working with some of these kids four years ago (has it been that long?!) in Honduras, and giving these kiddos at the homeless shelter a chance at an education is a pretty wonderful investment. It's expensive, sure, but something that will pay off for them and everyone in their lives for many, many years.
