What a beautiful summer it has been! I’m grateful that this year has brought me the opportunity to slow down and notice so much more in nature. Playing in the garden has been good for my heart, and watching as the flowers have moved through their blooms has been a thing of beauty.

These purple flowers are Ironweeds. Butterflies and other pollinators love them, and were fluttering around us while Sarah & I captured her senior photos last weekend.
