The most beautiful afternoon with this amazing couple from West Virginia who eloped to St Simons. TBH when we spoke about booking she let me know they would be in wedding attire but it wasn’t a wedding. I just ASSUMED they were vacationing down here and wanted to do wedding portraits on vacation… at the beginning of her session I asked how long they had been married and she said “uhh about an hour”. I was in shock because what I had been assuming and she was so nonchalant about it. 😂 So obviously that made this session even more special than I thought it was already going to be.

Congratulations to Abby & Jake! These two were awesome and so fun to take pictures of. 👏

1 senior, 4 looks, 4 locations, all in her small hometown. Now that is something special. 🤍

Kennedy was one of the sweetest souls, and we had the best time exploring the places she had picked out and been envisioning for her senior session.

One of those stops was right on the side of the road, surrounded by azaleas in peak bloom and it gave me some of my FAVORITE senior portraits EVER. 🌸

I love when a senior session feels personal to the person being photographed and when the locations, little details, and overall experience feel like them. And Kennedy’s session was exactly that.

Taking pictures of kids involves more than just “taking good pictures”. We have to learn how to let them interact in ways that seem fun to them to pull out real smiles & personalities. This was my own kid so it was a little easier for me to know things that get him excited like Lightning McQueen & pulling on a limb and then of course he sporting the tractor all on his own. That’s where we headed next! 🫶🏼

I always strive to pull little tricks out of my head to get your kids to have fun, but if you know they really have something they like at the time… let me know! I’m not above singing & dancing and doing what it takes to help the kids have a good time so you get to have the best pictures possible to cherish forever. 🫶🏼

LizAnn & Justin's Jekyll Island Engagement session was so sweet, fun and made me feel a little old TBH. I've known LizAnn & took her pictures since she was in middle school and now here we are, she's getting married! I am so excited for these 2 and excited to see where life takes them.

Yall keep having fun and enjoying life! 💕

Madison and I have chatted throughout the years, but at the beginning of summer, I took her college graduation pictures, and now we got together for a branding shoot to showcase her photography business. She chose 2 looks, one dressier and one more casual, and we added mainly her camera, plus a little bit with her laptop and phone, for portraits she can continue to use on her website and socials to build her brand.

We had the best time frolicking through the hay fields covered in dew after rescheduling from a rainstorm the evening before.

Thank you, Madison, for trusting me to capture you, your brand, and your passion! Thankful for a client turned friend and fellow photographer. 🫶

These early fall family photos have me soooo excited for what's to come! We had the prettiest evening the the boys did SOOOO good having their pictures taken and might have been bribed with a tractor ride after it was all done. Love this family and LOVE that Lauren uses her photos to decorate her walls. 🫶

Also, if you don't remember me saying it before.... I'm going to say it again, I LOVE BACKYARD SESSIONS.
