"Patrick Mittelstadt, born and raised in Mount Pleasant, SC, is an action sports photographer who specializes in wakeboard and kiteboard photography. When he is not working or behind the camera he likes to partake in extreme watersports instead of capturing them with his camera. Being a wakeboarder, surfer, and

adrenaline ju**ie himself, he knows what it takes to get the perfect shots. He tells riders to get as close as possible to him when he shoots. A good range for shooting series in the water and along the shore are anywhere from 10 to 150 feet away. When he shoots video he wants to be dangerously close to the action. He said if it gets too close he’ll move."
