Is this my actual family in the 80s? Heck Yes it is!! Do I love this photo? Absolutely I do!! Do I know it belongs in a museum? Bahaha, with 100% certainty!! 😂

We all have these photos right?! The one where we're squinting, the fashion is questionable, and we look like a totally different family. It’s a wonderful memory! But is it a portrait that accurately represents your family now? Of course not.

Your mom, your grandmother, your kids—they all deserve a portrait that captures this chapter, not the one from 35 years ago. Time moves fast, and kids don’t stay toddlers with tiny bowties forever (as my now-adult brother can confirm! Love you bunches Bro)

I know it *feels* early to think about senior photos… like, didn’t they just start high school yesterday?! 😭 But here’s the thing—by the time senior year hits, life gets BUSY. Sports, activities, graduation prep, all the “lasts”… and suddenly you’re trying to squeeze photos in last minute. ( BTW, If you are a current 2026 senior I have some last minute spots for you!)

UMMMM YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES! PLEASE DO!!! 🥹 🐶

Nothing makes me happier than when your fur babies get to be part of your session. They’re family too!! The chaos, the cuddles, the little nose boops, the unexpected kisses… it’s such a fun kind of magic to capture.

Some of my absolute favorite moments have come from a dog doing their own thing in the middle of a session and turning it into something even more real, more YOU.
