Wildflower + Whimsy Photography Making Time Stand Still... My name is Rachel and I am a professional natural light photographer based out of Waverly, NY.

My style is relaxed and fun, and I promise to do more than take your picture. I will capture the essence of who you are, and the unique dynamic of your family. A typical session will last 1 hour at a location(s) of your choice. If you don't have any place in mind I can offer suggestions. (Any location more than 25 miles outside of Waverly, NY is subject to a travelling fee.) You can expect to have a lot of fun and laugh a lot. You will leave with the confidence of knowing that I captured some great memories. After the session your images will be uploaded to my digital darkroom where I will enhance each photo to bring out the natural beauty of you and your family. Your images will be uploaded to an online gallery where you can order prints to be shipped directly to you, or, if you choose, a cd with all of the enhanced images is available for you to purchase at an additional price. If you choose to purchase the cd you will receive a photo release form giving you the rights to reproduce the photos you decide. I had so much fun catching up with this wonderful family yesterday for a gorgeous fall session. The weather was perfect and the fall colors were stunning. It's been five years since we last met up and those years seemed to have gone by in the blink of an eye, but getting them back in front of my camera reminded me why I love what I do. Seeing how much the kids have grown and capturing some new memories for them was so special.

Another gallery finished!

Sneak peeks from this weekend coming tonight. If you are waiting on a gallery thank you so much for being patient with me. Our new puppy requires a lot of attention. I’m working hard to get galleries out in a reasonable amount of time, but I also am homeschooling a 7th and a 5th grader and that takes up a lot of time, too!

I look forward to this session every year. I have had the honor of watching this family grow year after year since I first began taking photos. One of my favorite things about photography is the friendships that it has brought to me.
