Yesterday, I said goodbye to my grandma.

Today, I said goodbye to a horse who has been by my side for 24 years. She was 33 years old, and it’s hard to even remember what life looked like before she was a part of it.

Saying goodbye to two incredibly important pieces of my life within days of each other is a kind of heartbreak I don’t really have words for right now.

I know there are galleries waiting to be finished, orders to be completed, and sessions coming up. Please know that none of you have been forgotten. I know what I have on my plate, and I will get to everything.

But right now, I need to give myself a little time and grace to grieve.

I love what I do, and I’m incredibly grateful for the people who trust me with their memories. I just need a little extra patience while I work my way back to feeling like myself again.

Thank you for understanding and for giving me a little room to be human right now. 🤍

Our family lost a very special woman last week, my grandma, and a true matriarch of our family.

I’ll be stepping away for the next few days as we gather together to celebrate her life and say goodbye. Messages and emails may be a little slower during this time, and I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.

Wisconsin Pony Of the Americas Club - WPOAC Futurity goers, your gallery is loading...

Turns out photographing jam-packed classes from 7 AM to 7 PM results in a slightly ridiculous number of photos. Who knew?

There are LOTS of photos to sort through, so it’s going to take me a little bit, but they’re coming! I’ll post the gallery link on my page as soon as it’s ready.

Stars of Tomorrow: 65th Anniversary Futurity Show is almost here! We’re counting down the final days until our last show of the season!

A quick reminder: Wisconsin POAC membership is open to everyone. POA owners and exhibitors must be current Wisconsin POAC members to be eligible to compete in the POA-only Futurity and Maturity classes. Futurity entries must be received by Friday at 8:00pm.
