I haven't been able to kayak in quite a while already. Way behind on rain here and river level down. I'm assuming that is contributing to the thick seaweed situation. I never saw it this thick with seaweed. I tried pushing through it a couple weeks ago and it was disgusting. Unless the weeds are from the green dye they dump in the river upstream, never know. My gut feeling tells me the green dye they are dumping in the river from the cheese plant waste is hurting the river.
The marsh is mud in many areas where water normally would be too due to not enough precipitation..

I normally get some photos from the kayak but I can't really do that with these weeds.
