Something was in the air in Summit Lake. Blue bird skies, sparkly water, spotty sunshine through the leaves of the big oak and birch trees. It felt like summer camp in the way that it felt free-to-be, and it felt romantic in the glances between them, in the way they fit together, in the way that friends and family talked about them and their adventures and their hobbies and hopes. The care, the candles, and homemade dessert, the dancing and the dip kisses all over the property, made the atmosphere feel sweet and light. A day with their people, doing what they love, at a place they love, with Traveling Goat Pizza was more than enough for Alisa and Alec ✨

Married at where they could take it at their own pace, eat, drink, goof off and be in nature. They were asked what music they wanted playing before the ceremony and their answer was “nature sounds”, the birds and the water and the calm that was already there. They didn’t bring anything into camp “just because”, but because, it was handmade and important to their story. They even thrifted and gifted broaches, so that the people they love felt seen and special, too.

Allison and Quin left their fingerprints on Kamp Kenwood (and all of our hearts!!!) with their thoughtfulness and excitement for a colorful life

As Wisconsin and as wonderful as it gets (que the wedding pull tabs!!!) One of my favorite things about weddings is seeing all generations dancing and playing bag toss and plunking lawn chairs in a long line together. We don’t get these chances all the time. These families brought their campers to and made memories all weekend, and that was really all that mattered to Mikaela & TJ 🌊
