Since we’ve been sharing about births I wanted to share a once in a lifetime opportunity I got to witness last year 🩶

Last November I had the extreme pleasure of capturing my dear friend and neighbor Brittany Nicole Torres home birth & to say it was surreal would be the understatement of my whole career thus far. Worship music playing in the background, words of encouragement and support being spoken over mom, and truly just being in the moment. It was truly captivating and I feel like you can see that in these photos. What made this even more special, was this was baby #3, gender was completely unknown until after birth & dad got to be the one to share. Big brother was home the whole time completely unbothered, and big sister arrived shortly after to meet her newest “baby”. Mom got to enjoy a shower shortly after delivery and a warm meal in the comfort of her bed. It was truly magical. Not to mention, incredibly empowering. The woman’s body is absolutely incredible. & though I can admit it’s probably not a route I would ever take myself, man what an absolutely incredible incredible thing it was to get to witness first hand and to capture through my lens.

Due to the sheer unpredictability of births, especially home births I don’t know that I will ever get this opportunity ever again but I’m so so so glad I was able to witness it at least once 🥹 & for a family that is so special and near and dear to me, I’ll forever hold this close to my heart 🫶🏼

We previously talked about our studio option and now I want to talk about my second newborn option — In home newborn sessions :

This newborn package is a one hour session in right in the comfort of your home, where I come right to you. No packing up days after bringing the baby home; just capturing the real and raw life in the most special place — Home🫶🏼 this sessions investment is $275 & does included up to 1 hour travel (additional travel fees may be required out of that time frame)

Let’s talk newborn🤎

Newborns are something I have really started to be drawn to & I can’t wait to offer more in the time to come. As of now I offer two newborn packages and today I want to talk about my studio option :

Studio newborn package is a one hour session in downtown Plant City ( this exact set up) - $350 (this does include a rental fee as of right now I’m renting the studio on an as needed basis) sometimes scheduling allows and I’m able to offer two half hour sessions and split the cost but this isn’t always the case — but please NEVER hesitate to ask!🤎

It’s been a while 🦋

We’ve been a little quiet here in our corner of the internet. To be honest the world just got a little heavy, the self criticism was too loud, & I just need to do some deep soul searching & remind myself just what lit that fire in me to keep going. Capturing all the little moments, the last moments, the raw moments and freezing them in time for generations to come.

I’ve still been busy in this time away, capturing so many beautiful and wonderful moments that I can’t wait to share & will do so over time, but I figured what better way to start than sharing this super simple and intimate mommy and me session with the lovely Hunter & Adley 🤎

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in this last year reflecting, it’s that nothings ever promised. We’re all one call, one diagnosis, one loss away from a completely different life… so don’t wait. Take the photos. Don’t wait till you lose the weight, don’t wait till kids get bigger & are “less to handle” and if moneys ever the issue, please don’t ever be afraid to reach out to me.. we’ll work it out. Cause we’re not promised anything here 🤎

This is my first holiday season where I am no longer photographing weddings, and truthfully though my books are still full, I needed this. I’m so excited to focus on so many families, and offering a plethora of holiday mini options for all of my favorite families. A part of me will always miss capturing some of the biggest days in people’s lives but I miss capturing all the small ones too. The mundane, simple, day to days. And I’m more excited for more time with my own family this season 🥹

So here’s a HUGE thank you to those who have stayed and supported me in the quiet, and continued to choose me. Im so excited to be back. 🤎
