The Easter Bunny’s Little Red Ride.

Down a dusty lane at the break of day,
A rumble of wheels came rolling my way.
Not a sleigh, not a hop, not soft like you’d think—
But a red old truck with a tailgate that clinked.

With a fluff of white ears and a suit dressed so neat,
The Easter Bunny jumped down with a thump of big feet.
His basket was brimming with colors so bright,
Pastels and sparkle in morning’s soft light.

In the back of that truck, all worn, chipped, and true,
Sat eggs painted pink, yellow, green, and sky blue.
They rattled and danced with each joyful bump,
Like giggles and magic with every small jump.

He winked with a smile, a little bit sly,
“Got room for some Easter?” he asked passing by.
Then off he went cruising, no hurry, no fuss—
Just spreading sweet joy in that truck full of trust.

So if you hear rumbling where quiet should be,
And spot red paint shining beneath an old tree—
It might just be him on his yearly spring run…

As the final session of the year comes to a close, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to all the families who have entrusted me with capturing their cherished memories this year, and to the photographers who have rented my vintage red truck.
