LET’S GOOOOO 🏈🔥 It’s almost GAME TIME, y’all!!
I absolutely LOVE media days. We have so much fun, and I still can’t believe I get to call this my job. Getting to know these young men, hype them up, and hopefully be a positive role model in their lives is something I’ll never take for granted.
The only bad thing they can tell you about media day is that I REFUSED to play their bad music 😂 Yes, I made them listen to my Christian rap. They survived. They’ll be alright. LOL.
This year hits a little different because it’s Nash’s first year of tackle football. It’s definitely been something new for him, but watching him practice alongside his big cousin, who’s in 8th grade, has been so special. There were plenty of summer practices where he came home saying, “I don’t want to do this anymore,” but he kept showing up and pushing through.
Football takes SO much more than people realize. The discipline, mindset, toughness, and straight-up WILL these boys have to build is incredible. I truly don’t know how they do it sometimes, especially in this Florida heat. 😂
I’m proud of my boy, but I’m also SO proud of every single one of these boys. They have worked their butts off all summer.
Huge thank you to all of the coaches pouring into them and pushing them to be better on and off the field. 🧡💙
