I haven’t posted in a while…
Its harder than I’d like to admit to keep up with working, scheduling, managing websites, shooting, editing, AND posting 😫
Posting on social media is one of the most important parts of owning a business these days, and I’ve had so many people ask if I am still booking since I haven’t posted. I wish I was born in the 80s!! 🤣
The pressure of posting and keeping up on socials on top of daily responsibilities seemed crushing, and it stopped me from even taking pictures for a while.
I lost my drive to push for more clients, more shoots, and new things; that was, until one of my students asked me to come to a volleyball game.
Watching these girls put so much effort and energy into volleyball inspired me to capture their drive and spirit.
I tried something I’ve never done before and I am loving learning how to capture at long distances and high speeds. I also love getting to give these girls moments frozen in time that capture just how much they want to win, and to grow.
Thanks to them, I have regained the inspiration to shoot again, to try new concepts and techniques, and to book more clients in 2026.
