Five years of marriage feels like something worth celebrating! I was so excited when Paige and Nick asked me to photograph their fifth anniversary session in Chicago. These two have been in front of my camera for quite a few chapters now, and getting to document this season of their lives felt like the sweetest full-circle moment.

Kaitlin and Cole were married at the Brix on the Fox on the most beautiful late summer day. My favorite part of this wedding was most definitely the people. The florals were stunning, the venue is incredible, and the details were a dream, but the people are what made this wedding most memorable to me. It is clear that this couple is dearly loved and that they love their people well. I had the best time with their wedding party and their family.

Photographing a senior for the very first time always feels extra special, especially when it is the first “senior” milestone for the family! Addissen is a Class of 2027 senior at Watseka Community High School, and her summer senior session was the beginning of what I hope will be a year full of beautiful memories for this sweet girl. Some wedding days feel less like a production and more like a really good gathering of the people you love most. Alexia and Nate’s wedding day at Four Mounds in Dubuque, Iowa, was exactly that! A day filled with so much laughter, personality, and plenty of help from their family and friends… Their summer wedding was simple, beautiful, and completely them. It was an honor to document this chapter of their story!

I had so much fun photographing this cast and this production. The show was great!

To say that we are overjoyed is an understatement. Thank you to everyone that supported our first Senior Theatre production. We have always loved Fiddler, and this rendition furthered deepened our love of this classic musical. Thank you to the staff, cast, crew, and many volunteers for all of their hard work to bring this show to life. Thank you to the sold out audiences that laughed, cried, and cheered on our performers. It’s always a risk to try something new, but we can say with certainty that KVTA's Fiddler on the Roof SR was a huge success! Bravo!

Some moments are extra meaningful because you’ve watched the story unfold long before the day itself! I’ve known Elyssa since the day she was born, and over the years, I watched Elyssa grow from an adorable little curly-headed girl into the incredible young woman she is today. So when her older sister reached out to ask if I would photograph Tim’s proposal, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!

I'm probably sharing way too many photos from this wedding... But you only get to photograph your niece's wedding once, right?

Liz & Kyle's wedding was a dream! It was such an incredible honor to witness these two become husband and wife while preserving these memories for our family. Looking through these photos still brings me right back to all of the laughter, happy tears, and so many unforgettable moments. This one will always have a special place in my heart.
