I completely forgot to post this cake from this previous weekend!
Quick story: Back in March I donated some gift certificates to the Woman’s Crisis Shelter to auction off at their “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” event. A few days after the event, I finally received a message from the winners! So excited to put some creative flow into a new session, my new clients gave me a little background of their love story. I put together a fun day for them along with a special cake! The weekend starts to approach and unfortunately our plans had to be rescheduled but the cake was already ordered and because I am supporting a small business, I didn’t want to cancel the cake. So, here we are, enjoying a cake from a small business I decided to still support because we’re all trying to get by in hard times and I’m a firm believer in community over competition. But don’t fret, I have been talking to my clients to reschedule their special session and I will be ordering another cake! 😉
