TW: Close up of my stitches/wound

Just about a week since my surgery and the swelling has gone down significantly in the last 48 hrs. 👏 Makes talking much easier 👌
The pain is far more tolerable and really only when I exert myself or attempt to stretch my neck too far in one direction.

But overall, yay for healing! 🫶
Now to continue to play it safe and take it easy for another week and a half as the wound continues to heal up.... I'm definitely struggling with not bending over and not picking up my 4 year old 😪
