"Life is moving on, carrying me with it" A quote from Morning Star, by Pierce Brown (one of my current favorite books) that has really settled in my soul.
It's been a long time since I posted, almost a full year. To say this year has been exhausting is an understatement. On New Years Eve, I cheered with my parents, husband and kids out to dinner for a great year. Little did we know in February, my father would be diagnosed with an aggressive throat cancer and life hasn't been the same since. To know me, is to know that my family is my everything, a tight knit family. For us life has been full of chemo, appointments, tests, surgeries, waiting for answers, & then waiting for some more. He's a stubborn man, a fighter, and continues to keep fighting.
All this to say, I haven't been here, or really the photography world for the past year. Along with being there for my fam, I've had a multitude of other personal reasons to pull back from the craziness and chaos of juggling scheduling sessions and working my other job that I love. I've chosen to focus on my family. All my children in school at the same time, the last thing I want to do is miss them after school and on weekends.
I deeply apologize for those i haven't gotten back too. I love photography and every session I've had the honor of doing, but at this point in time, I'll be only doing mini sessions if I post them 🤍
