It's been a minute since I last posted anything here.

My latest stop was Sackets Harbor, which overlooks Lake Ontario and is a designated New York State Heritage Area with historic sites and .

Tree-lined streets and sidewalk gardens offer colorful contrasts to historic architecture and War of 1812 Battlefield.

The Sackets Harbor is interpreted to the by exhibits, signs, guided and self-guided , and a restored 1850's Navy Yard and Commandant's House.

During the months, guides dressed in military clothing of 1813 reenact the camp life of the common soldier.

Out and about Thompson Park in Watertown, New York.

The park has facilities like the Thompson Park Zoo operated by the Thompson Park Conservatory, 's creative playground, Watertown Club, beautiful scenery, vantage viewpoints, exercise trails and country drives, courts, skating area and cross-country ski trails, among others.
