Would you believe me if I told you this moment was entirely by chance? (Aside from the sign photo). I was photographing another reunion, but this heartwarming moment happened right next to me. I absolutely HAD to capture this.

This is why I do this work. So you and your children can have it for years to come and to look back on. It means so much to me as a fellow military spouse.

What an absolute honor it is to be trusted to capture these moments for fellow military families. We are experiencing firsthand, just how difficult deployment is with little ones. I give major props to all the mamas out there who are solo parenting so their spouse can serve our country, the dads/moms who are missing home & especially the kiddos, who are missing such a massive piece of their heart for so long.

Autumn sessions have launched. I’m only doing a handful and am still taking a lot of family time through the holidays. So, if you’ve wanted to book with me, now’s your chance! Hello hello! It's been a while. Spring was chaos here and I've been taking it slower to enjoy more family time before autumn brings some big changes for a while.

Excited to share all I've been working on, for clients and for my own documentary. It's mostly been days out in the sun, in the garden, and being outdoors with the fam. Aurora's favorite place on earth is our garden, and it's brought the sweetest joys into our home life!

It's truly such a blessing to be chosen for moments like these. I'm invited into vulnerable, postpartum, real, raw spaces and I get to document them exactly how they are. I couldn't ask for anything else, I'm so lucky!

🇺🇸Welcome Home MAJ Wright & the rest of 10th Mountain 2nd Division!!🇺🇸

This week was one for the books. There is simply nothing like being able to watch soldiers reunite with their children, spouses, families, and friends.

While this division of soldiers are home now, before long, many others will be facing deployments very soon, including my girls having to say "see you soon" to their Daddy. I'm holding onto hope knowing that this is what we have in store for when he returns.🙏🏼
