It's always fun when my 2026 seniors ask for a post-graduation session. Chesney came BACK (back again... ok, cheesy) for a follow up with her cap-and-gown! And how lucky am I that I will get to see her smiling face in the halls at my work this fall, too. In honor of LATC starting tomorrow, congrats Chesney and welcome to Lake Area Tech. I hope you have a tremendous year -- next time lets leave the confetti at home (we spent entirely too long picking up all those papers, but we were both taught to leave things nicer than you found them). 🥳

We adore the bridal portraits in the morning, during and after our first look, but I also love the extra time I always add into my wedding day schedules that allow the bride + groom to spend some time alone toward the end of the day. Stepping outside and enjoying that quiet time is always one of my favorite times with the couple. Kara and Dane were no exception and they had the most perfect spring day for a wedding. Thank you again for having KPD!

Why, yes -- you can always bring a puppy with you to your session, as long as you let me pet dat dawg. Max came from Indiana for his pictures - okay not just for his pictures, but it was pretty dang special to meet his new furriend, too. Thanks for having KPD capture this milestone for you! I have been photographing the Thomas family for a while now, and they just love my family so much they named their new baby after my baby - okay just kidding - but, she does have the best name! Congratulations to Kyle and Leah on their newest arrival, she is so beautiful (and a few months older than this now, but look at her cute little nose & ears)!

I have been able to photograph quite a few milestones in this particular family's lives - from seniors to weddings. Photography isn't just a job to me, its about making meaningful connections with my clients, I earn their trust, and capture many memories that will last forever. Silver Creek Events in Madison, SD knocked it out of the park on Kelly and Dominic's special day, and I am so grateful that I got to be apart of it.
