Life really does have a way of coming full circle. ❤️

Years ago, Alexa was one of my cheerleaders when I was teaching at Millstadt. And now, here I am, getting to photograph her as a mama with her own precious little baby in her arms.

I can’t even begin to explain how special moments like this are to me. Watching these girls grow up, start families of their own, and step into entirely new seasons of life is something I don’t take for granted.

Alexa, I am SO incredibly proud of you. Getting to capture this chapter of your life means more to me than you know.

Sometimes I just sit back and think about how lucky I am that this is what I get to do. 🥹❤️

I don’t think I’ve ever photographed as many seniors as I have this year, and I am LOVING IT.

Senior sessions have quickly become one of my absolute favorite things to photograph. I love getting creative, exploring new locations, and capturing each senior’s personality during such an exciting season of life.

I’m genuinely so grateful for the number of families who have trusted me with these milestones this year. And the best part? I have FOUR more senior sessions this weekend, and I seriously cannot wait!!

The golden light, the sweetest little moments, and a whole lot of love!

I love sessions that feel more like an evening spent together than a photoshoot. A little laughter, a little romance, and all those in-between moments that end up being my favorites.

These two made my job pretty darn easy. I’m so excited for everything that’s ahead for them and feel lucky to have captured a little piece of their story.

And that fall light? I could have photographed them all evening.

ONE whole year of Grant. 💙🎂

And what a year it has been.

This sweet boy was born with a heart condition that has required multiple heart surgeries in his very first year of life. He’s faced more in 12 months than most of us will face in a lifetime, and yet here he is, with those big blue eyes, the sweetest smile, and a whole lot of personality.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to watch a little guy absolutely demolish a birthday cake. Because for Grant and his family, this milestone means SO much more than turning one.

It’s a celebration of every hurdle overcome, every prayer prayed, every hard day behind them, and the incredible love that has carried this little boy through it all.

Grant, you are one brave, deeply loved little guy. And getting to celebrate your FIRST birthday with you and your sweet parents was such an honor.

Here’s to ONE YEAR, little heart warrior. You deserve every single bite of that cake. 💙

To say this fall has been busy would be an understatement. 🤍

Senior sessions, newborns, content sessions, fall families, cake smashes, milestones… my calendar has been FULL, and so has my heart.

I’ve spent so many hours behind my camera lately, and I keep coming back to just how incredibly grateful I am. Whether you’re trusting me with your brand, your graduating senior, your brand-new baby, or another year of family memories, it means more to me than I can put into words.

After all these years of doing photography, I still don’t take a single booking for granted. The fact that so many of you continue to choose me, recommend me, and invite me into these special seasons of your lives is genuinely humbling.

I’m tired, my editing queue is overflowing, and I wouldn’t trade this season for anything.

Thank you for keeping me so incredibly busy doing something I love so much. I am beyond blessed by every single one of you.

A little bit of posed, a whole lot of personality, and all the sweet moments in between. 🤍

One of my favorite things about studio family sessions is having the freedom to capture a little bit of everything. The classic family portraits, individual photos of each kiddo, sibling shots, and those candid moments that usually end up being my favorites.

I love a clean, simple backdrop that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs; on the people and the connections that make each family their own.

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is just how much variety we can fit into them! From the clean, classic look of the studio to the character of downtown and the soft, natural beauty of wildflowers, we covered it ALL.

I love giving my seniors a gallery that feels like more than one session, with different outfits, locations, and looks that show off every side of their personality.
