Sarah & Sean’s wedding day was proof that sometimes your weather app is just a damn liar.

After days of rain predictions they wound up with the most beautiful weather and one of those wedding days that felt effortless, elevated and genuinely fun all at the same time. Everyone was happy, relaxed, fully present and ready for the good time from the second the day started no matter what happened weather wise.

My favorite thing about photographing elopements is that they’re all presence and no performance. When Shannon called to tell me about her and Nick’s plans to elope at , I was all in from the get go. In addition to it being held at one of my favorite venues and the subtle nod to “Gilmore Girls” (one of my favorite TV shows), what stayed with me most was how it felt. Their day was quiet, intentional and effortlessly relaxed. It was real. It was sweet. It was just them.

I’ve held this day close to my heart for a while now, so it feels really special to see it shared in Connecticut Magazine this month.

We love a good mother-daughter moment, especially when it involves a reimagined wedding dress. Tayte changed from the prettiest dress in the room to the coolest; having repurposed her mom’s it was a little edge mixed with a lot of nostalgia which made for the perfect party dress.

This season is about slowing down and paying attention.

It’s taking notice of what’s in front of me. The light, the emotion, the moments that pass way too quickly.

I’m letting things unfold instead of stepping in too soon. I’ve learned that the magic lives in the in-between if you let yourself linger a half second longer.

This season is about creating photos that look like the day actually felt. Photos that are composed but never forced, romantic but never performative.

It’s about delivering galleries you can fall back into.

2025 was a pinch-me, is this real? kind of year — beautiful couples, heartfelt stories, insane venues, gorgeous details and the kind of moments that make wedding weekends feel like magic. Add in old and new vendor friends and a whole lot of love and it’s a year I’ll never forget.

In the midst of it all I’ve been planning my own wedding which has completely shifted how I see and experience these days. More than anything, it’s given me a deep sense of gratitude for every couple who trusts me to photograph something so meaningful; to step into your world, meet your people and witness one of the biggest moments of your life is an honor, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Twenty photos will never be enough to show how much love and intention was poured into Hannah & Brian’s wedding weekend. This wedding was full of sentimental touches and every moment felt genuine because it WAS genuine. From wearing her mothers wedding dress to the rehearsal dinner to dances with dad to the tears of joy shed by everyone (here’s looking at you, Brian) it was impossible not to get caught up in it and feel all of the feels because everything came straight from the heart. Shooting weddings like H&B’s reminds me of why I love them so much.

Also, Club Cameron needs to be an actual thing, let’s make that happen.

Oh Olivia, you were so poised, confident and unfailingly sweet. Photographing you on your wedding day was like having a front row seat to a masterclass on staying calm, cool and collected during the beautiful mayhem that is bridal prep. Here’s to you, girly. ♥️

Carolyn - “I really want to take photos in a white Wrangler”
Me - ::googles ‘Wrangler rental Block Island’:: “LFG girl.”

This pre-wedding shoot was a dream come true for all of us. For Caro & Ev they got the photos they wanted and I got to be creative with amazing people and do something a little bit different. (Also, in another note, I got to drive a Jeep Wrangler all weekend long which was so fun I’m seriously considering trading in the VW.)

If you were looking for a sign to do a pre-wedding photoshoot with your photographer, here it is. As a photographer and as a 2026 bride, my advice to you is that it’s your weekend so make the most of it. You’ll never regret what you did do, you’ll only regret what you didn’t.

Katie and Greyson’s wedding day was delightful, beautiful chaos. It was going to rain and then it didn’t, then it did but only a tiny bit so burying the whiskey bottle totally worked. Multiple relatives descended upon Katie’s family home for the weekend, everyone reminiscing about the times they had growing up there. Cousins reunited. Babies and toddlers ran around, the newest generation following in the footsteps of the cousins before. Greyson’s family was welcomed with open arms; everyone excited to witness him and Katie get married, such a poignant moment in such a heartfelt space. Mixed into it all were the vendors who worked to transform a multi-generational family home overflowing with history into a wedding venue for a weekend.

The wedding was a family affair made even sweeter with its newest addition, and at the center of it all was Katie and Greyson. Steadfast and true. Chaotic and fun. Full of love and uncontainable happiness. It was beautiful to witness and photograph and there’s a part of me that loves the fact that one of Katie and Greyson’s wedding photos is going to find a home among all of the others, maybe next to her grandparents - the ones who started it all - as a testament to the continuing story of their ever expanding family.
