A little re-intro post (plus excuse to share these photos I’ve been sitting on for a while!) 💌
Welcome to Kimberly Nguyen Photography, LLC (better known as keemkaptures here on IG ~ Keem is a nickname from high school that has stuck with me for many years ~ and in using this space as a fun way to share my art and my personality, it felt like the perfect name for this page)
When I pick up a camera, it’s more than just pressing a button and calling it a day — documenting moments is important to me because I understand how fleeting this time and memories can be. It’s always my hope when I work with my clients that they feel a deep pull to print out their photos to either hang up in their spaces or put in a box or album to share with future generations down the road. My most cherished items are family photographs at my parent’s house — we have boxes and boxes of family road trips, birthday parties and just silly goofy times photographs (I have my dad to thank for my love of photos — he was always the dad with the camera I’d roll my eyes at growing up, but now these photos are ones that I love the most).
Even before I pick up a camera, getting to know you is my #1 goal — let’s learn a little bit about each other so I can curate a comfortable and fun photo experience for you.

1. I’m a matcha lover through and through (and it’s my favorite color)
2. I’ve been using 35mm as a way to capture my everyday life and time spent with friends and Dami my…and it’s been so fun to get developed (you truly never know what you’re going to get)
3. I’m part of a storytelling org called .project — I’m passionate about telling stories of those who might not get a platform to do so and also collaborate with other non-profits in their storytelling initiatives
4. Orange cat parents stand uppp — I’m a mom to a very very bold and rambunctious cat named George
5. I’m part of two book clubs and have a goal of reading 40-50 books this year!
