In case you've ever wondered why senior dogs have such a special place in my heart, it's because I've seen how quickly things can change. 💛
I've photographed families whose dog was doing great one day and having a difficult day the next. It's a reminder that our time with them is never guaranteed, no matter how much we wish it was.
If you've talked to me recently, you also know that my own heart dog, Charlie, has shown his age more than ever this past year. Watching him grow older is bittersweet, but it's also made me cherish every adventure, cuddle, and even the ordinary moments we get together.
That's why I'm passionate about photographing senior dogs. Their stories deserve to be remembered, their love deserves to be celebrated, and one day photos become some of the most treasured things we have left. 🫶🐾
