This is a great opportunity for teens interested in photography.

We still have lots of space available in many classes, however, two of our clay classes already have waitlists for next semester. If you're hoping to enroll your young artists in our upcoming homeschool classes, now's the time!

Class Spotlight: Photography 101 & Photography 102

This class is taught by Mrs. Rachelle Seiber of Cherish the Moments Photography in Wasilla! She's been teaching with Brush & Glaze for the past three years as a photography instructor and Little Picassos instructor. Ms. Chelle has taught several years prior and has a Bachelors in Elementary Education. In addition to her experience as a teacher, her photography skills speak for themselves. Photo 101 & 102 are each eight-week long courses. Many students take the full semester, taking 101 in the first quarter, and 102 in the second. Over the span of these classes, students learn how to use a DSLR camera to create beautiful images including portraiture, micro and macro, action, nature, product photography, and more. They will learn how to structure several different composition methods and the why behind angle, lens, shutter speed, and ISO choices.
