Whether you’re sharing professional photos or photos from your phone this is super helpful to ensure your photos look their best on the feed!

1. Select all the photos from your roll and choose what orientation you want them in or mix and match.
2. Tap into each photo and pinch to zoom in and out and drag to make sure the important parts are in the frame.
3. Pay close attention to not chop of tops of heads or feet or other extremities or things that are important to the photo(unless intentional).

It just takes a couple more steps to make a carousel look a little more polished ✨

If you’re looking to have an unforgettable elopement day and you don’t mind the cold then may I suggest a winter helicopter elopement in Alaska?✨

There are no words to describe how gorgeous the locations we got to visit on Sam and Adam’s elopement day were so I’ll let the photos speak for themselves 😍 Between the glacier cave, mountain top and ice wall at the toe we had the trifecta of backdrops!

I absolutely it let loved getting to share this experience with Sam and Adam on their elopement day and see the wonder in their eyes and joy on their faces as they tied the knot and then explored these gorgeous places🥹

February and March are usually the best months to look at experiencing the glacier like NikonUSAI highly recommend it. There’s nothing quite like witnessing these places in person, and on your wedding day?!? EPIC!!

Who else is ready? 🙋🏼‍♀️

When I’m not out on a photo adventure and am “working from home” you can usually find me cocooned at my desk if it’s a crummy day, sitting on the porch, in my hammock, at a campfire somewhere or on some occasions hitting the lake (I usually don’t take my laptop though 😂😂).

Summer really opens up the doors to new workspaces and I’m so ready!

A little humor and encouragement for fellow Alaskans. We ALL knew this was coming, right?! Even so, it made me feel some type of way. After skiing in a workout top in the mountains yesterday I’m a little in denial about this dusting, but I will persevere!

I’m currently doing “The Artist’s Way” and one of my first week tasks was to write down five other lives and professions I could have and I’ve been recently really intrigued by the idea of radio shows and hosting (I recently read the second book of The Heartstrings series by haha). I was instructed to pick one of those possible things and give it a spin. I hadn’t officially chosen why I wanted to do yet but this morning I woke up thinking about how amusing it would be to set up a fake radio situation at my desk and then the idea unfolded, and then I looked out my window and it fully formed. So here we are 😂

When I say make your photosession feel like a date, this is what I mean!

From snowy fields and tree lined roads to cozy coffee shops, a dinner stop(not pictured) and then aurora hunting, this engagement session covered it ALL!

Jenn and Thor are eloping with me in July and I am OVER THE MOON excited for their day! They have been long distance for a while as Thor is here now and Jenn is waiting for the school year to end and wrap up teaching before she moves up.

When they told me she was coming up in November and they wanted to get some engagement photos and also chase the northern lights, I was thrilled! We spent from 2pm-10/11pm ish together and it was super fun! When they first came up to AK together they road tripped in his jeep and then throughout their time had explored some trails in Girdwood and visited Black Cup as well so it felt fitting to include those stops in their session 😍

Time not often I get to take engagement photos for my elopement couples, but when I do it just makes me so much more excited for their special day 🥹🥰

So glad we hit the perfect weather window for this to all happen within THE SAME DAY!
