News flash!!
Neacola Mtn Air/AK Heli School has officially merged with Alyeska Helicopters. The school will keep the Alyeska name.
We decided that together have more to offer than operating independently. We are keeping both locations open with options for students to fly at either location.

Hey everyone please be aware of the road closure!

There will be a full road closure at Engstrom Road to facilitate the removal of snow from the road way. Flaggers and signage will be used to direct traffic through the area. We thank you for your patience.

Dawn patrol happens at the leisurely hour of 9 am these days. However…we are quickly gaining more light every day. Captured here is and .brian7 about to head out so .brian7 can solo!! We are excited for the longer brighter days on the horizon and stoked for Brian’s solo time🙌🏽

Our instructor arranged to have the lead meteorologist from the Alaska Aviation Weather Unit-AAWU come out and give a presentation about winter weather forecasting. Josh shared some great insights about products they generate and tips on how to decipher some of the graphic weather charts etc… we hope to be hosting more education opportunities throughout the year. Stay tuned!
