Did you know that where you print matters?? It 10000% does. I always recommend to order your prints directly from your gallery to ensure that the colors are all printed correctly. Here's a great example of the same image printed from many different companies. A professional print lab is always the best choice.

🫶🏻I've been waiting to post these... Yesterday I shared the first moment I saw Mama, and today is some of the last I saw of this beautiful family. But something so special happened at this moment. Mama took the time to take a cat nap as baby girl (surprise gender) slept in her arms, and Daddy made sure to watch over both of them. To this day, I'm not sure if Dad paid much attention to the song that had come on so quietly in the background at random, or if he was too mesmerized to notice, but I held back tears - watching his face to see if he was too - as Brett Young sang to them... 🥲

I can still remember the stillness as I walked upstairs to this mama pushing already. I didn't immediately realize the urgency of the situation as this was my test shot. (look at her!!) I was still in the hallway just looking in and this is the magic I saw in that room. Needless to say, she handled birthing her princess like a total ✨ bad*ss. ✨

Mamas face says it all… this is the exact moment every mother waits for. The first touch, the first cry, and the first sigh of relief. After this, everything she just put her body through doesn’t even seem to matter anymore. Mothers are superhero’s. Mothers are invincible. Mothers are capable!

Don’t discount dads either. They take on the brunt of the worry, the fear, and the hardship of watching the pain a loved one is enduring without the power of taking it away. Dads face in this moment releases all of that worry, and welcomes his sweet babe into the world with a genuine, loving smile.

💖I’m incredibly relieved that I was able to arrive in time to witness this beautiful lady do the unimaginable to bring in sweet Aspyn into this crazy world. With only 9 minutes from when I stepped foot into their home, my shutter was closing in on this breathtaking moment in front of us. The team work and surefire love that was beaming through this home every step of the way made the perfect storm for sweet Aspyn to be born into.🌸

Thank you Haven Midwifery for capturing the moments before I arrived and providing this mama with “just in case” shots of her delivery ❤️ Teamwork!

Truthfully, this session was so easy to photograph and I was extremely ecstatic behind the lens the entire time. It flowed with emotion and was a treat to edit in post. 🥰🤩
