Idaho's Salmon River, also known as the River of No Return, as it heads west along 80 miles of roadless area near the northern edge of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. The entire length of the Salmon River, all contained within Idaho, is 425 miles long. It is one of the longest, free flowing rivers in the lower 48.
