Some photos don’t turn out how you expect, which is why I even save the “bad” ones when editing.
My flash didn’t go off for this shot so it was extremely dark and I thought it was unsalvageable.
But I kept it anyway. And then I started playing in Lightroom. And then it turned into something really fun.
It was dramatic, almost cinematic. It was grainy but in a good way and the colors were so rich. It evoked Old Hollywood.
So pro tip; even your “worst” shots are worth working with and ALWAYS shoot in Raw.
