It feels good to finally have my first Gallup photo shoot under my belt. Technically this family lives in Grants, so that’s where we took these photos, but still. My first shoot was a success! We had a bit of crying and little cold arms and fingers, but we got through it and ended up with some super cute images. Be on the lookout for more coming soon!

We’ve moved! We are now living in Gallup, NM! This was the drive down last Saturday. Such beauty. Hopefully this will be a grand adventure!

The love emanating from this family is simply radiating! I loved shooting this little family yesterday. It was so easy to relax around them and feel welcome into their lives for a short time. I love seeing the connection between kids and their parents.

Happy Sunday friends! Working at a gym, the thing I hear the most from women is “I don’t want to look like a man, so I only do cardio.” Here’s a thing. He will never look like a man, unless that’s your goal. Women are built differently, and lifting weights will tone your body, and give you the shape you desire. Muscle also burns more calories; in other words, more fat! So don’t be afraid to lift heavy, ladies!

All 3 of these incredible women are mothers. But can you guess which one has SEVEN (Yes! You read that right, 7!) kids? The last 3 of which are triplets?! It’s so incredible what the human body can go through and still get strong again with a little hard work and dedication.
I encourage you to get up and move today. Get up and move for at least 30 minutes. Get your heart rate up, and drink more water!

You guys are NOT prepared for the awesomeness coming your way with this shoot! These three strong women were so amazing to work with and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and confident knowing I was going to get some amazing shots out of them. Thanks girls! You’re all beautiful, fun, crazy, incredible women! (I blame it on the fact that you’re my family 😉)

I love keeping the colors deep and bright in my photos. So when my clients wear fun colors, I get so excited! As much as I love the neutral colored photos that other photographers do, I just can’t do that. Color is life! I stand by my decision to keep it bright 🙃

Who says you can’t do a cake smash at 30? Not us! I say - get out of your comfort zone, and try something new! Experience life the way it was meant to be experienced. Enjoy it. Live it. Love it. Have fun and don’t ever overthink things.

30, flirty, and thriving! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this beautiful babe! Jessica Nelson and I decided to do this cake smash for her 30th birthday to celebrate her life and fun personality. I’m so happy she chose me to celebrate this special day. More pictures to come, as this is only the beginning!

I present to you, my cousin! .fit.monique started her fitness journey a little while ago, but this year has kind of blown up for her. She has become an instructor at Vasa, and her journey has just accelerated beyond belief. I’m super proud of my little cousin, and how far she’s come. It was an honor to take her photos.
