We figured it was time for a “get to know us,” if you don’t already!

We grew up in Cowlitz County, Washington, went to rival high schools, but from eighth to twelfth grade, we were the best of friends. Without realizing it, we both had secret crushes on each other, yet never said a word. We even made a promise — if we were still single by thirty, we’d marry each other.

After graduation, life took us in different directions. Collin headed to college in Hawaii, while Miranda went to ECU in North Carolina — about as far apart in the U.S. as we could get. Over the years, we drifted but stayed in touch now and then. One day, reminiscing over that old promise, we decided it was time to stop joking and start something real. Shortly after, Collin moved to North Carolina, and we recently got engaged.

We both share a love for love, and that’s what makes photography so special to us. Capturing these moments together is a passion, and we understand the magic of being with your best friend!
