Every photographer edits differently. Some go dark and moody. Some go bright and airy. I go true.

After years as a photojournalist, I can’t bring myself to change how a moment actually looked. If the light was warm and golden, your photos should feel warm and golden. If it was overcast and soft, that’s what I’ll preserve.

Your gallery should feel like stepping back into your day, not into someone else’s aesthetic.

Did you know there’s a trick that completely fixes awkward wedding photos?

It’s not about posing, it’s not about knowing your angles, and it’s definitely not about practicing your smile in the mirror the night before. It’s about staying so present with each other that you genuinely forget I’m there.

My whole approach is built around that idea. Instead of directing you or giving you prompts to follow, I ask you to ignore me completely and just be with your partner the way you would be if no one was watching.

I stay quiet, I stay out of your way, and I work around whatever is naturally happening between you two rather than interrupting it to set something up.

That’s where the real photos live, not in a carefully arranged moment, but in the ones that happened while you weren’t thinking about the camera at all.
