Proof that Visit Franklin, TN lives up to its title as the South’s most charming town 🤍

Just over 20 miles south of Nashville (about 25 minutes by car), Franklin, TN is walkable, beautiful, rich in history, and full of great restaurants and live music spots that make it easy to extend your itinerary by a day or two.

The things to do in Franklin range from electric bike tours through Civil War history to rooftop views at sunset and kicking off your shoes to wade through a creek in the village of Leiper’s Fork.

✈️ If you’re looking for a Southern escape where you can slow down, eat well, explore at your own pace, and still have the convenience of flying into a nearby airport, Franklin is worth considering for your next weekend getaway.

➡️ P.S. I’ll be sharing more from my trip soon, including plenty of ideas to help you plan your own visit. Stay tuned!

There’s a waterfall hidden 260 feet beneath Lookout Mountain... and you can go see it! 👀

Ruby Falls in Chattanooga, Tennessee is home to one of the tallest underground waterfalls open to the public in the U.S.

Descend 260 feet by glass-front elevator into the cave, then follow a guide-led cavern trail through ancient rock formations to reach the thundering 145-foot waterfall hidden deep inside the mountain.

Discovered accidentally in 1928 by Leo Lambert and opened to visitors in 1929, Ruby Falls has been welcoming travelers underground for nearly 100 years.

✨ Tip: Timed-entry cave tours often sell out, so reserve your tickets online in advance.
🕘 Open daily year-round (except Christmas): 8 AM to 8 PM EST
🎟️ Cave Walk tickets start at $28.95 for adults and $18.95 for children ages 4–12 (children 3 and under are free)
🔦 Specialty experiences include Lantern Tours, Geology Tours, History Tours, Gentle Walking Tours, and family-friendly Junior Caver Tours.

Ruby Falls is one of the most unforgettable things to do in Chattanooga and a must-add to your Tennessee bucket list.

Hosted by Ruby Falls during the Wanderful Women in Travel Summit 🫶🏻

Excuse my language 😉 but… 30 f***ing 2 🎉

Another year around the sun, and I’m grateful for a body that keeps me active and a life that allows me to see more of this beautiful world. 🎂✈️✨

Here’s to more adventures in my thirties — more stamps in my passport, more unforgettable memories, and making the most of this chapter. 🌍

Happy National Trails Day 🥾 I’m taking some time to celebrate the trails I love and the people who maintain & protect them.

Today is a reminder to enjoy, appreciate, and help protect the trails that connect us to the outdoors. 🌿

Sharing some of my favorite trail memories here 💚

🪴Looking to visit one of the world’s great gardens? You’ll find it in Pennsylvania’s Brandywine Valley, within a few hours of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and New York City.

Longwood Gardens is a must-visit destination just outside Wilmington, Delaware. ⛲️ With more than 1,100 acres of gardens, stunning conservatories, seasonal blooms, and spectacular fountain shows, it’s easy to spend an entire day exploring. I especially love the bonsai collection and the beautiful West Conservatory, which opened as part of the Longwood Reimagined project in 2024.

I’ve visited three times, and each experience has been completely different. There’s truly always something new to discover, no matter the season.

📍 1001 Longwood Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348🎟️ Purchase tickets online in advance for the best availability🕰️ Check the website for current hours & events⛲ The Festival of Fountains is happening now, and select evenings feature drone shows & fireworks

👀➡️ Have you visited Longwood Gardens yet?

👀 If you’re looking for unique things to do in Delaware or on the East Coast, add Nemours Estate to your list.

Built in 1910, this 77-room mansion is one of the largest French-style estates in North America. The property spans 200 acres and features Versailles-inspired gardens with fountains, monuments, woodland trails, and plenty of hidden corners to explore.

📍 Located just outside Wilmington, Delaware, Nemours Estate is open Tuesday–Sunday from April 1 through Dec 30.

🎟️ Estate Day Passes start at $23 for adults and include access to the mansion, gardens, grounds, and vintage automobile garage.

It feels like stepping into Europe without ever leaving the East Coast.
