effortless and so present on their wedding day. it rained right before their ceremony. their wedding coordinator made the call to start the wedding with the first half of cocktail hour while we all waited for the rain to stop, these two didn’t bat an eye! took the day for what it held and it ended up being perfect in every way!

it’s so easy to include your pets in your engagement session, don’t overthink it. I basically let them do their thing and have you focused on each other, and beautiful imagery comes from that, instead of focusing so much on forcing your pet to sit perfectly for the camera that you lose out on being in the moment together. so yeah, don’t leave them at home, don’t overthink it, bring them to your session.

I was reading through of my couples responses to a timeline questionnaire I had sent them, and they said they loved the way we documented this wedding and that was their inspiration for photos.

it’s always special when your couples draw inspiration from your previous work. this was such a fun and special weekend with Emma and Aaron. while it was a just a beautiful wedding, the relationship we had initially formed contributed to how effortlessly creative capturing their weekend was.

part II of eric and ashley’s engagement session

no fear, just presence and giving in to the experience of having their relationship documented in such a raw and emotional way. I left this session refreshed, so giddy to edit their gallery because I couldn’t wait for them to see the magic they had created at that beach.

Ashley and Eric suggested pickleball for the first half of their session, and here’s how an activity they both enjoy together made it into part of their story for their engagement session. I always encourage my couples to make their session personal to them, and that creates a beautiful experience for them that they’ll never forget and will guarantee they have fun. part 2 of their session was wildly beautiful as well, stay tuned ☺️
