📬 [email protected] Um, okay. Cool. I can’t win. At that point, it’s just photos.

My photography journey started in art school after I decided chem was not for me. Tons of chemicals in the darkroom, I’m basically a scientist. When my class graduated, it was one of those ‘Good luck, we don’t have jobs for you, hope you’re super talented’ kind of situations. So now I need to wrestle with starting a photography business and being a ‘sell-out’ who affords groceries, or committing t

o a life of straight-up Picasso. Curating the perfect photo and editing the sh*t out of it takes you out of your story. And we’re here to make memories. Because here’s the thing about your wedding. Your love is all that matters.

A reminder that your wedding does not have to be “fancy” to be meaningful.

Some of my favorite weddings happen in intimate rooms, neighborhood spaces, and places that simply feel like you. The magic is always in the people, the energy, and the moments in between. 🤍

Still so grateful for kind words like these from Jennifer + Evan’s Edgewood Arts Center wedding in DC.

Not your average bridal details dump 🌺

Give me the lace gloves, the tiny buttons, the statement florals, and the “wait… where is that dress from?” energy every single time. 🤍

Tiffany + Karam made it official in the heart of Old Town Alexandria and then did exactly what you should do after… wandered.

From courthouse vows to cobblestone streets, every corner became part of their story. The soft light, the brick-lined paths, the quiet joy in between it all it felt effortless, intimate, and so them. Old Town has a way of slowing everything down, letting you soak in each moment while giving you endless backdrops just steps away.

This is why we love an Old Town Alexandria elopement simple, beautiful, and full of movement.

Where history is written, they walk in with quiet confidence.

Framed by the steps of the Supreme Court, these portraits capture more than presence they capture purpose. The weight of the work, the conversations in motion, the moments between decisions. This is what it looks like to stand at the center of it all, where law, legacy, and humanity intersect.

An evening that felt both elevated and welcoming

This Pomona College alumni reception at Rose’s Luxury in Washington DC brought together connection, conversation, and a beautifully curated atmosphere. Set inside one of DC’s most loved restaurants, the space created an intimate environment where alumni could reconnect and celebrate shared experiences.

Warm lighting, thoughtful details, and the natural flow of conversation made the night feel effortless and genuine. Capturing these moments in a documentary way highlights what matters most, real connection and community.

There’s something about photographing a family in a space filled with history and art that makes every moment feel even more meaningful.

At the National Portrait Gallery in DC, this session wasn’t about posing perfectly or looking at the camera every second. It was about the in-between. The way they leaned into each other, the quiet conversations, the laughter that came naturally. The way love shows up without being asked.

Documentary family photography lets these moments unfold as they are. Honest, unfiltered, and full of connection. The kind of images that feel like memories the second you look at them.

Years from now, these are the moments that will matter most. 🤍

Documentary school photography in New York is about capturing what it truly feels like to grow, learn, and belong.

Over two days with After-School All-Stars at Excel Upper School and P.S. 272 Curtis Estabrook, I documented the real moments — connection, confidence, curiosity, and joy.

This is the kind of storytelling that helps nonprofits and schools show their impact in an honest, meaningful way.

If you’re a New York or Brooklyn organization looking for documentary, editorial, or event photography, I’d love to tell your story.

Inquire to book.
